So your subconscious brain is misguidedly generating pain signals even though your physical body is no longer in danger.


This doesn't mean you’re broken — your system has learned to respond this way. Certain movements, times of day, emotions, places, aromas or even just thoughts are now connected with symptom generation & can trigger this learned response.
